Frequently Asked Questions:

1. Q: IS THERE A DEADLINE FOR ENROLLING IN CERTAIN COURSES?

A: Yes. Before you are guaranteed a class spot, the following documents must be submitted.

FOR VETERANS USING EDUCATION BENEFITS

  4. Background Check (this can be a recent police department check, valid concealed carry permit, guard card, or other ID indicating that you work for federal, state or local government)

  11. Upon enrolling, you will receive an email guiding you through the process and instructed on the items that must be submitted for getting the class seat you want.

  12. 3. Q: WHAT ARE THE MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS TO ENROLL IN COURSES?

  13. A: To start the process of enrolling in any one of our training programs, potential students must fill out an application for admission, and be at least 18 years of age.  Upon acceptance, potential students will be asked to supply additional information or documentation in order to enroll in specific programs of instruction. Once enrollment agreements for the chosen training program(s) are completed and, admission is granted, students do not need to reapply to the school unless they have been dismissed due to misconduct or they have not been actively enrolled in any program for more than one year.

  14. Completed Application – Applicants can complete the necessary paperwork and submit all documents via email, fax or mail.  Approved applications are held for a period of one calendar year.  After one year of inactivity, admission requires a new application process.

  15. Transcripts – Applicants must provide a copy of previous post-secondary training, a copy of certifications earned, and any other evidence of prior training for consideration of prior training credits.

  16. Health Screening – Because of the strenuous nature of the training, applicants are required to submit a physician’s evaluation for all vocational school courses.  Applicants may also submit a copy of a recent physical or obtain a sports physical from a local clinic, such as Walgreens.

  18. 4. Q: HOW DO I REGISTER FOR, OR GET MORE INFORMATION ABOUT YOUR COURSES?

  19. A: Fill out the application and enrollment agreements for your selected course and then email, fax or mail the forms.  Please be sure to follow up with Administration since enrollment cannot be guaranteed until paperwork is received and your funding is verified.

  21. 5. Q: I WAS NEVER IN THE MILITARY OR LAW ENFORCEMENT, CAN I TAKE YOUR COURSES?

  22. A: Yes. You can still participate in almost all of our courses. You must have relevant work experience take in order to attend our vocational school courses, with the exception of our Krav Haganah Instructor course, which does not require a military, law enforcement or security background. Courses is open to civilians.

  24. 6. Q: CAN I TAKE ALL OF THE AIEO APPROVED COURSES IN A ROW?

  25. A: Yes.

  26. You can take the Krav Hagana in july, Advanced bodyguard in August followed by Counter Terrorism instructor in August.

  27. 10. Q: IF I HAVE ALREADY USED MY DIPLOMA  FOR ANOTHER SCHOOL, HOW DO I TRANSFER MY BENEFITS TO YOUR TRAINING?

  28. A: You can sign up and fill out a simple online form at VONAPP http://vabenefits.vba.va.gov/vonapp/main.asp

  29. The form to transfer your benefits only takes a few minutes to fill out. You will have to enter the name of the school and course(s) you are going to attend.  The name of the school you should use for our programs is: “AIEO Counter Terrorism Training School.”  Please print a copy of the application as proof, since it will take up to 8 weeks to receive your Certificate of Eligibility.

  30. 14. Q: WHERE IS YOUR TRAINING HELD?

  31. A: Training is held in however, we train all over the world.

  32. We will transport students from our training facilities from certain hotels to training daily.

  33. 16. Q: WHAT GEAR OR CLOTHING SHOULD I BRING TO TRAINING?

  34. A: BDU’s or other cargo style pants, light colored t-shirts, long sleeved button down shirt, shooting gloves, eye protection, cap and hydration system (Camel Bak).

  35. 18. Q: WHAT CERTIFICATES WILL I EARN UPON COMPLETION OF YOUR COURSES?

  36. A: Upon successfully completing the courses below you will receive the following certificates:
    1) Advanced Bodyguard / Personal Security Detail / Executive Protection Training
    2) Counter Terrorism Instructor
    3) Krav Haganah Instructor
    These courses are approved by the Nevada Commission on Post Secondary Education.

  37. We have many more courses that are currently approved, but are working on getting additional courses certified by Post Secondary Education.

  38. 19. Q: CAN I GET A JOB AFTER I GO THROUGH ONE OF YOUR COURSES?

  39. A: Yes, we do help students find work but we can’t guarantee placement since we do not know the student’s background, skill level, character, experience, etc. We do assist with resume building/writing, training, interviewing skills and checklist of items needed while searching (Private Military Contractor Portfolio). In addition, we also have very good working relationships with US and overseas contracting companies on various levels. Each class we complete, students will go on to work domestically and in overseas environments. AIEO works diligently to secure employment for our graduates.

  40. 20. Q: HOW DOES HOTELS AND LODGING WORK WHILE ATTENDING YOUR COURSES?

  41. A: Once you sign up, we will send you the recommended hotels near our training site.
